How to Upload Machine Report

As part of the warranty registration process, you are required to upload Machine Report documentation. If you are unfamiliar with this process, please use the following guidelines to assist you.

Part 1: How to Upload Machine Report – Canon imageRUNNER Devices

1.Press the Counter button

2.Click Print List from below option

3.Click “Yes” from Below menu

4.Find below the Counter Report

a. Make a scan of Machine report or if you are using a smartphone or tablet device, take a photo of your Machine report and whilst completing the Warranty registration form, you can choose and upload the image of your Machine report directly from your photo album.

b. Save the image to your computer in JPG, TIF or PDF format

c. Make sure that the file size does not exceed 4MB

To check the size of the file (Windows), locate the receipt on your computer, right click on the file and select ‘Properties’. The file size is listed under the 'General' tab as highlighted below.

If you are using a Mac, right click on the file and select ‘Get Info’ (Apple/Command + I). The file size is listed under the 'General' section.

If the file is larger than 4MB, you can resize it by following the steps outlined for Windows or Mac.

d. d. On the Registration form, select the ‘CHOOSE A FILE’ button

e. Then click ‘Open’ and locate the saved image on your computer

f. Select the file and click ‘Open’ to confirm your selection

6) Your Machine report is now uploaded to your Registration form.

Part 2: How to Upload Machine Report – ImageRUNNER Advance DX and imageFORCE Devices

1. Press Counter button

2.Click Print List from below option

3.Click Yes from Below menu

4.Find below the Counter Report

Part 3: How to Upload Machine Report – Obtaining Counter Report from ImageFormula Document Scanners

1. Press Menu button

2. Select Maintenance Menu by using UP or DOWN arrow and press OK

3. Select Total Scan in the Maintenance Menu and press ok

4. The total scan count will be visible

a. Take a photo of your Machine report with Total number of Scans and whilst completing the Warranty registration form, you can choose and upload the image of your Machine report directly from your photo album.

b. Save the image to your computer in JPG, TIF or PDF format

c. Make sure that the file size does not exceed 4MB

1.On the home screen select Printer Settings

2.Select Test print.

3.Select Status print.
