Canon Ambassador Helen Bartlett shoots solely in black and white, working with contrast, light and shadow to create drama and graphic intensity. "This is an image about childhood as much as about these particular children," says Helen. "It will transport them back to their summer holidays and all the fun they had together. And yet it also makes me think of my own childhood and all the adventures we had. I love incorporating the environment into my pictures to fill them full of memories."
