The programme plans to extend its reach to several SOS Children’s Villages, including those in Dar Bouazza, El Jadida, Ait Ourir, Agadir, and Imzouren.

These workshops, supported by Canon Certified trainers, aim to train up to 30 students in each village, nurturing their passion for photography and equipping them with the tools to enter the professional world. The partnership aims to transform lives by providing photography training, mentorship opportunities, and community benefits, including training for SOS Children’s Villages employees and educators.
During the initial training session, which targeted members of the Marketing and Communication employees and educators, participants experienced a profound impact, gaining a fresh perspective on photography. They described the workshops as transformative, enabling them to see the world through a new lens and imbue their images with greater depth. The collaborative nature of the training was particularly valued, as it facilitated the exchange of ideas and experiences among participants, enriching their communication strategies.
Canon Miraisha's ultimate objective is to empower students in need with valuable photography skills. As part of this partnership, two exceptional students will be selected for a mentorship programme led by Canon Certified trainers. These students will undergo an intensive three-month photography course, acquiring advanced skills and knowledge. Following this mentorship, they will help establish photography clubs within their respective SOS Villages, where they will continue to train other students, fostering a sustainable cycle of learning and creativity.
These villages provide a stable and caring family environment for children who have faced challenging circumstances.
